Due to the heavy compounds to be adsorbed it is not possible to regenerate on site the activated carbons that, after the programmed working period, must be changed with fresh ones.
The vapors are commonly driven to the unit by a booster fan and pass through a Knock Out Drum equipped with demister to keep humidity or product droplets.
Other devices like cooling exchangers are added if necessary.
