ONE STAGE UNIT ADSORPTION + CONDENSATION

• Activated carbons regenerated by vacuum + condensation of desorbed hydrocarbons.
• No absorbent washing required.
• Direct monitoring of recovered HC.

The Vapor Recovery Unit is composed by two activated carbon beds: one in operation, while the second is regenerated by vacuum; vapors of HC are adsorbed by activated carbons and air, free of hydrocarbons, is discharged to atmosphere.

The desorbed hydrocarbons are sent to a two section exchanger (one section is in operation while the other is defrosting or in stand-by) cooled by a screw freon compressor, the condensed hydrocarbons settle down in a tank from where are pumped back to customer’s tanks.
